Cancellation, Rescheduling
& General Terms Policy
General Terms · 01
Session Rescheduling

Rescheduling will only be accepted if I am notified at least 10 days in advance of the scheduled session.

Requests made with less than 10 days’ notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit, except in special cases that are properly justified and accepted by me.

General Terms · 02
Second Rescheduling

One rescheduling is allowed per session.

If the client needs to reschedule a second time, a new deposit will be required.

General Terms · 03
Delays

Please arrive at the scheduled time.

I understand that unexpected situations can happen—on your side or mine. If you’re running late due to traffic, weather, or any other reason, just let me know.

However, if the client is more than 1 hour late without any prior notice, the session may be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

General Terms · 04
Health & Readiness Conditions

If the client shows up under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or in any condition that compromises the safety of the tattoo process, the session will be canceled and the deposit will not be refunded.

General Terms · 05
Session Cancellation

The deposit paid to reserve the date is non-refundable under any circumstances.

This amount covers part of the time spent planning and organizing the schedule, and secures your spot exclusively.

Chapter Two
Possibility of
Additional Sessions
Additional Sessions · Overview
When Sessions May Extend

We have a previously agreed-upon price for the execution of your project, as discussed.

However, certain factors may arise during the procedure that could require extending the project into one or more additional sessions, such as:

Pain During the Procedure

The inability to proceed properly until the completion of the project due to the level of pain you may experience during the process. This discomfort may lead to interruptions or negatively affect the progress of the session.

If I determine that movements, spasms, or any other physical reactions are compromising the quality of the work, I reserve the right to suggest extending the project and, if necessary, to discontinue the session.

Additional Sessions · Complexity
Perception of Complexity

Although I have full knowledge of my working process, technical expertise, and experience to estimate the duration and complexity of the project during the quoting stage, tattooing is not an exact science.

Each body and anatomy present unique characteristics that may directly impact the execution. Therefore, various factors may alter the initial perception of complexity and the time required to complete the work.

During the session, I may identify challenges that differ from those initially anticipated, which may prevent the completion of the project within a single session or within the originally planned number of sessions, making additional sessions necessary.

Additional Sessions · Commitment
Our Agreement

In any of these cases — whether due to pain or complexity — I reserve the right to recommend additional sessions to properly complete your project.

The previously agreed session price will remain valid, regardless of the stage at which the work is paused. The continuation of the project, as well as the cost of any additional sessions, will be determined by mutual agreement.

Please note that all of these measures are intended to ensure the most important aspect of my work: the quality of the final result. This is the highest level of respect I can demonstrate for the trust you place in my work.

Each case is unique, and everything can be handled through clear communication, respect, and patience.

Chapter Three
About Artwork
Development Process
Artwork Development · Overview
Before Your Appointment

A few days before our appointment (usually around 2 to 5 days in advance, or earlier), I’ll reach out to begin the process of creating the artwork and discussing any additional details.

The process of developing and designing the artwork to be tattooed will work for your project in the following way:

Artwork Development · Approach 01
Reinterpretations of Existing Works
Works of art, engravings, sculptures, etc.

I do research in order to obtain visual references of the original piece, and, in some cases, related studies so that I can understand specific details that will make sense for the tattoo.

Usually, based on these studies, I create a sketch over the original piece, analyzing the points and how the transition to the skin will be done within my style.

In general, I share these studies with the client before the session, just so that we are aligned regarding some detailing, body placement, etc.

Artwork Development · Approach 02
Creating a Custom Illustration

In these cases, using the references you sent me along with additional visual research I do, I will create the drawing for you.

This creative process is shared with the client in different ways depending on the project to be executed.

In some cases, I send an initial sketch showing some details and requesting approval to proceed. In other cases, I send a more developed version of the drawing. There’s also a third possibility, in which I send more than one sketch so we can discuss it together.

I don’t necessarily send the final drawing to the client. I usually send only the base/main lines, along with some explanations about the project and how it will be executed.

All the hatching, textures, shadows, and details are done directly on the client’s skin during the session.

Tattoo Pre-Session
Recommendations
Pre-Session · Days Before
Preparing Your Body
3 Days Before
  • Stay well hydrated every day. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin healthy and ready for the procedure.
  • Avoid alcoholic beverages and very greasy or spicy foods.
2 Days Before
  • Do not expose the area to be tattooed to the sun. Avoid sunburn or irritation.
  • Avoid cosmetic procedures such as peeling, waxing, or exfoliating the area to be tattooed.
Pre-Session · Final Preparation
The Last Steps
1 Day Before
  • Get a good night’s sleep. Being well-rested helps your body handle the process better.
  • Avoid alcoholic drinks (again!) and excessive caffeine, as they can thin the blood.
On the Day of the Session
  • Eat a good meal before coming. Do not arrive on an empty stomach.
  • Wear comfortable clothing, preferably dark or older clothes, to avoid staining with pigment.
  • Bring a bottle of water and a light snack (such as a fruit or something simple to eat), if you’d like.
